Oh my gosh!! Food for all! The delicious servings are HUGE! Sooo scrumptious and the naan fluffy. You will be delighted by the exquisite taste of everything.

A very tasty wide range of Mediterranean fusion dishes with good sized portions at fair prices. The only reason it's not five stars for me is that the meats seem to be lower quality: the chicken on the Chicken Shawarma plate was tasty but had too many hard, chewy pieces and one very hard piece of some kind of spice with a strong flavor. The lamb in the Lamb Tikka plate was tasty, but too chewy with some inedible pieces of gristle. The rice was tasty, but served at room temperature with clumps of rice--not light and fluffy as it should be. All the accompaniments like pickled cabbage and cauliflower, and roasted Jalapeno and tomato were delicous. The NaaN bread was very fresh, tasty and served in a generous amount. Service was good, but the atmosphere cold, bright and hospital-like with glaring neon lights.

This place is delicious!! Went here for a business lunch and received great service and A LOT of food!! Their pita bread is HUGE and fresh! Love their hummus! I ordered k end their wraps and took the other half home because I couldn't finish it all! Everything is reasonably priced. Service was very attentive and hospitable. I would definitely recommend coming here!

The best Mediterranean food I've ever had! Stopped by while our car was charging and had one of the best meals of my life here! Chicken tikka was outstanding, hummus excellent, and the bread was fresh and unbelievably good (like a pizza flatbread)! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but knocked it out of the park where it counts! Punches far above its weight class

Ali Baba is probably one of the best restaurants in Escondido. It is pretty consistent in terms of service, flavors and ambiance. They have a variety of items but their kabobs are the best. I like the kofta kabobs (chicken, lamb or beef) better than their shawarma. They have a schnitzel/milanese which is ok and the meat is a bit thin. TIP: if you want a great lunch special, this is your spot! Monday - Friday from 11am-3pm (lunch specials come with hummus, salad, rice & their HUGE naan bread). Their hummus goes well with the bread, but if you're with a group also get the muhammara which is a delicious eggplant dip (different from baba ghanoush). Sometimes this restaurant is really busy especially at peak dinner hours. They also get a lot of take out orders so it might take some time to be seated. The restaurant was recently renovated and it looks great! I assume they have a lot of large dinner parties here since they have a lot of family style options and large tables. If you do come with a group, it is easy to park in the spacious lot and there are chargers for electric vehicles. Although I was excited when they opened a K-BBQ spot in the plaza, we only went there twice. I found that Ali Baba is too delicious to pass by! If you're in Escondido, eat a meal here for good food in generous portions!

Wow wow wow! Stopped for the Tesla chargers and figured I'd try this place out while waiting and so happy I did. The food was absolutely amazing!! The lentil soup and Ali baba salad are a must! Also ordered the chicken kofta plate and wrap and both were delicious. Lots of flavor, cooked to perfection, this place will not disappoint!

We came back to try another corner of the menu, the Zaatar flatbread was incredibly good, I don't know where else you can get something like this. Generous portions, we ordered way too much because I wanted saffron rice very badly. Worth it, I will eat the leftovers for breakfast and lunch tomorrow.

They have a nice menu with some veggitarian options. Service is usually good here....the servers will give suggestions when asked...the indoor dining is nice...and open......lots of choices for seating. A friend of mine wanted to go out to lunch today. I have been to Ali Baba's many times and have always enjoyed my food, so we decidedon Ali Baba..My friend didn't like the food she ordered and didn't eat much of it....mine was ok, not as good as it usually is.
